Is your growing business overwhelming you with time-consuming admin tasks and taking you way from doing the things you love?

We chatted to Dawn Hart from YogaSherborne about how she was able to save herself from being swamped by spreadsheets and win back more time for teaching thanks to Gymcatch.

How has YogaSherborne grown over the years?

“When I started teaching yoga about eight years ago, I had two classes with maybe five people in each class. It was really easy to manage that on a spreadsheet, with texts and emails. Fast forward to now, and I’ve built that into my business, my sole income.”

What have been the growing pains for the business?

“Now I’m a full-time teacher, I have 10 classes a week with 10 to 15 people in each class. Trying to manage that on a spreadsheet became really overwhelming.

Trying to match up payments on my bank statements to my spreadsheet, to managing people wanting to swap classes, making sure that when people didn’t turn up, they still paid. All of those things were taking me away from being a good yoga teacher.”

How has Gymcatch changed that for you?

“Not only has it given me time back, so I don’t have to manage the spreadsheet and the process, but it also means there’s a really clear structure for everyone to follow, for me and people coming to my classes.

Everyone knows the cancellation policy, they know what to do if they need to change something. And it’s all managed outside of the yoga studio, which is fantastic.

It’s made everyone’s life easier and enabled me to be a better teacher.”
