In the first of a new series, we speak to Anna Martin, a personal and group trainer, and founder of community fitness hub Always Moving Forward.
Anna shares how Gymcatch not only offers an affordable booking and management system for her business, but how our many clever features also help her attract new customers and build long-term loyalty.
What was running your business like before Gymcatch?
“I previously used a massive piece of gym software to manage my clients and my classes, but it became so expensive that it was out of the realms of what I could afford within my budget.”
How did Gymcatch change things?
“Swapping over to Gymcatch made such a difference to the way that I run my business. I can still do all the things I need to be able to do, like run multiple pricing options, my whole schedule’s on there, my clients can book in on an app. But without the hefty price tag.
In fact, we now get more for our money, such as in-app messaging. This means I have more contact with my clients, so I’m able to build their trust in what we do within the business and how they feel about fitness in general.”
What Gymcatch feature is making the biggest impact on your business?
One of the features I love the most is the ability to offer discount codes. I follow up with new people and offer them an exclusive code to use on a three-class pass. That means I get three more chances for them to fall in love with fitness and to fall in love with how we do things. It really increases my retention rate, so it means they’re going to keep coming back. By the time they’ve got to their fourth class, they can really see the benefit, and they’re starting to join the community. Gymcatch has made a massive difference with that. It really does help me to build that community feel.
Gymcatch makes my life easier, makes my client’s life easier, and gives me more time to focus on the things that I really care about, and that’s the teaching and creation of my classes.
