CrossFit Incursion with Cam and Nolan CROSSFIT always starts with its WOD (work out of the day!!). It’s like a box of chocolates… you never which one you are going to get!! In the CrossFit box you can expect, barbell workouts including cleans, deadlifts and overhead squats. Also cardiovascular workouts including rowing, running and the air bike (everyone’s favourite). For the event with Vision you can expect air squats, press ups, burpees - mixed in with a training component such as tabata or an AMRAP. Tabata is a style of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that involves 20 seconds of exercise at your maximum effort, followed by 10 seconds of rest, for a certain number of rounds. AMRAP is a formula for a workout that stands for “as many reps as possible” or “as many rounds as possible.” The workout involves picking an exercise (or series of exercises) and then completing as many repetitions or rounds of that pattern as you can in a set amount of time. Depending on people booked in the session there may be equipment based exercises… full workouts will be released closer to the day. _________________________________________ At CrossFit Incursion, we believe in inclusivity and inspiring positive lasting change.
