This session will start off with a brief introspective written meditative practice, 1.5 hours of Yin Yoga, plus a 1-hour Sound Bath and Breathwork. The aim throughout this workshop is to focus on stillness, silence, and how to be comfortable with ourselves. Starting off the session, we will be having a cup of herbal tea and looking internally to set our scene. This is NOT a sharing exercise but a personal reflection to allow yourself a moment to check in with YOU. From here, we’ll move slowly into a calm, relaxing Yin Yoga session using props to find our own expression of each pose and enjoy stillness and silence as we go. It is worth taking account of when do you truly ever get this in day-to-day life and enjoying being able to just be with yourself. We can allow our mind to be grounded in the present and release tension wherever possible. Finally closing off with a 1-hour Sound Bath to let us fully let go of any mental or physical tension left in the body using Crystal Singing Bowls and some light Breathwork. As always, I will be providing everything you will need for the workshop, from mats and props, and pen and paper for the first opening exercise. It is recommended you bring extra layers and any blankets or pillows you may wish to have for the Sound Bath to make sure you are as comfortable as possible throughout the session. I am hoping that you will come away truly relaxed and maybe even learn something about yourself as the session progresses. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there!
