About
Join Georgina for a 3.5-hour practice where the power of yang meets the deep stillness of yin - creating the ultimate Sunday reset. This extended practice offers the time and space to open your heart, strengthen your back, and nourish your body and spirit while cultivating inner strength, resilience, and introspection. Together, we’ll explore how holding space for ourselves—both in movement and stillness—can deepen our connection to our bodies, breath, selves and the present moment. ☯️ What to Expect We’ll begin with breath-work to centre ourselves and set intentions for the journey ahead. From there, we’ll move into a powerful yang sequence of standing and seated postures focused on heart-opening and front-body expansion, while building strength and stability in the spine and back body. This part of the practice will encourage you to explore balance, honesty, and self-support—staying open whilst feeling safe and compassionate with your boundaries. We will then transition into the yin, where we’ll shift into stillness. Using props, we’ll explore longer-held postures that gently open the chest, shoulders, and upper back, stimulating the Heart and Lung meridians connected to the Fire and Metal elements. These elements reflect the emotional themes of love, connection, and letting go, as well as the ability to support ourselves whilst living authentically. This practice creates space to release tension, and cultivate patience and love as we invite areas of holding and protection to loosen their grip. ✨ Why Join? This workshop is more than just movement—it’s an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and practice on a deeper level. When we live authentically—leading with our hearts—it’s essential that we also can have our own backs. Strengthening the back body not only supports physical health but also symbolises the ability to support ourselves, hold space for our hearts, and back ourselves in moments of vulnerability. By balancing strength with surrender, you’ll leave feeling open, empowered, and renewed. Whether you’re looking to release tension, deepen self-trust, or simply carve out time for self-care, this practice is here to support you. So, roll out your mat and immerse yourself in 3.5 hours of movement, breath, and stillness. In a safe, supportive, and welcoming community, you’ll have the freedom to create, take, and experience exactly what you need. I can’t wait to see you there! As always—Nothing to prove, everything to practise.
