About
Join us for a Deeside Wellbeing Collective community session which alternates practitioners from month to month. A donation based class/workshop, just pay what you can. For July's offering we have a Community Yoga session for Beginners led by Jayne Raithby from 'Yoga with Jayne'. Curious about yoga or looking for a gentle way to move and unwind? This friendly beginner class is a great place to start. Led by Jayne who teaches regular beginner sessions at the studio, the class will guide you through simple yoga postures, gentle movement, and basic breathing techniques. We’ll begin with a soft flow to wake up the body, then slow things down to focus on balance, flexibility, and ease of movement. The session will end in Savasana with a short guided meditation. Yoga can help you feel more grounded, improve mobility, and support overall wellbeing—both physically and mentally. No experience is needed, and all are welcome. This is a donation-based session held in a warm and welcoming community space. Just bring yourself, wear something comfy, and come as you are. Jayne will also offer an Ayurvedic Tea after class if you wish to stay for little longer. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, straps etc are provided by the studio but please bring your own mat if you prefer. The workshop takes place at Deeside Wellbeing Collective studio, 11 Scott Skinner Square, Banchory. Our monthly adult donation based classes/workshops in 2025 have been made possible by the award of grant funding from the Aberdeenshire Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund Round 4.
