Community Session (Donation Based) Power Yoga Workshop with Holly Edmonds

About

Join us for a Deeside Wellbeing Collective community session which alternates practitioners from month to month. A donation based class/workshop, just pay what you can. June's session is with Holly Edmonds (Yoga With Holly) who is offering an extended 2 hour workshop. Join Holly for a fun, playful, energetic and challenging power yoga class for the first hour. Step out of your comfort zone and fly into the weekend from all angles. Options will be offered so all can participate but some yoga experience is encouraged. After the power yoga and a short break, stay on for a workshop exploring Vinyasas. Playing with learning to jump from standing or building on the jump you are doing. Focusing on keeping the breath and movement synched. We will explore options if you are injured or feel you are not ready for the full Vinyasa. We will also look at exercises to help you to build strength using props to help you progress or improve from where you are. Both sessions will finish with relaxation to help you wind down before heading back to your day! Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, straps etc are provided by the studio but please bring your own mat if you prefer. The workshop takes place at Deeside Wellbeing Collective studio, 11 Scott Skinner Square, Banchory. Our monthly adult donation based classes/workshops in 2025 have been made possible by the award of grant funding from the Aberdeenshire Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund Round 4.
