About
Join us for a Deeside Wellbeing Collective community session which will alternate practitioners from month to month. A donation based class, just pay what you can. This Yin yoga session is with Lisa Kellighan (The Hilltop Yogi) and will offer you space for deep relaxation and restoration on a Sunday morning. Slow down and rest into long-held poses primarily targeting connective tissues like ligaments and tendons. Working in this way promotes flexibility and circulation, but interestingly also stimulates the tissues to strengthen. The sustained holds and emphasis on stillness create a profound sense of calm and inner peace and is the perfect antidote to busy modern life. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, etc are provided but please bring your own mat if you prefer. The class takes place at Deeside Wellbeing Collective studio, 11 Scott Skinner Square, Banchory. Our monthly adult donation based classes in 2025 have been made possible by the award of grant funding from the Aberdeenshire Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund Round 4.
