What is this thing called “energy” that is coming to more of the forefront to be acknowledged in our lives? Does it shape us, or do we shape it? And, if we are able to shape it and choose how we respond to it in its various forms, how do we do that? Most of us didn’t learn about this in our culture growing up. So where might we discover how to live in harmony with the energy we are made of and connected to that can express itself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually? How can we feel a sense of self-empowerment living in the energy of Life? How do we choose to live our lives in peace and joy, health and more, if and when there is turmoil going on around us and/or within us? For discussion and options relating to these questions, you are invited to a 3-hour workshop on Saturday April 27th from 10am to 1pm at Sattva. During this time together, we will take a closer look at and open up to more of our awareness of energy in our everyday lives through the lens of Qigong, with joyful living infused. In this workshop we will not just talk about the concept of energy, we will, through Qigong and meditation, practice interactive experiences with our own energy and that of others. You will leave with beneficial, uplifting, easy skills for cultivating life force energy that is within us and all around us. These ancient skills are truly a gift in this time when many people are searching for support in navigating the ocean of our changing world.
