** now closed for bookings ** This workshop is designed for those with no meditation experience. It will create a good foundation to be able to meditate at home alone or to feel comfortable attending group meditation sessions. We will cover the basics of what meditation is, posture, a little of its history, the science that supports using meditation, cover various styles of meditation so you can find what works for you and hopefully have some fun along the way. We will be practicing a variety of short meditations suitable for beginners. All my classes are taught with an option to be seated in a chair or on the floor - whichever is most comfortable for you. Practicing meditation can provide a whole host of scientifically proven benefits for your health and wellbeing.
