Join Sarah Knight and Laura Ross for this special collaboration - a morning of outdoor fitness, yoga, cuppa & snacks! We'll meet outdoors in Sarah's beautiful garden just off the main road in Crathes for a 1 hour KnightRoX session with Group Fitness Instructor and PT Sarah Knight. The outdoor fitness session will be followed by a yoga session led by Laura Ross of Banchory Yoga. Afterwards enjoy a cuppa and snack together! Location: Rosebank, Crathes AB31 5JE (or Crathes Hall if the weather isn't in our favour!) Timings & Details: 8:20 - 8:30am arrival and questionnaire to fill out if new to KnightFit. Please park at Crathes Hall. House is less than 5mins walk from hall. 8:30 - 8:40am instructions/demonstration of session 8:40 - 9:40am - KnightRoX session 9:50 - 10:45am - Yoga with Laura 10:45 - 11:15am - refreshments & social *KnightRoX session* Sarah introduced this format of class in August 2024. It's a great way to try out a variety of distances and strength based exercises to improve overall fitness. Whether you're a beginner or keen to challenge yourself to a PB, this style of workout is for all abilities. You choose your distance, and weights (variety of dumbbells available) all in your own time. It's your workout, your challenge! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈβ€βž‘οΈ RUN / JOG 1Km /500m/200m (along the Deeside Line) πŸ‹β€β™‚οΈ WEIGHTED exercise between each run (variety of exercises, demonstrated at the start of the session). Examples include: weighted lunges, broad jump/burpee, squat into shoulder press, planks (all exercises can be modified to your level of fitness) πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ RUN/JOG 1km or 500m/200m πŸ‹β€β™€οΈ WEIGHTED Exercise ➑️ continue this pattern up to 6 times to reach up to 6km or your chosen distance and x 6 weighted exercises πŸ’ͺ Have a look at Knight Fit Facebook page for the featured video highlighting the structure and format: https://www.facebook.com/share/16E6X763xJ/ *Yoga session* All welcome, this is the perfect complement to Sarah’s workout! Simple movements designed to improve flexibility, mobility and strength along with meditation, breath work and relaxation surrounded by the sights and sounds of the garden. Please bring your own yoga mat (we'll have a few spares so if you'd like one, let us know in advance). Please also bring water for after the KnightRoX session and comfortable clothing (including an extra layer and a blanket) for the yoga session. All participants acknowledge that a training session is physically strenuous. As such they must be medically fit to participate and take full responsibility for their own personal health and fitness. A Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire will be required for all new participants to KnightRoX. Questionnaires will be available for completion at the start of the session.

Cancellation policy

In the event of your cancellation more than 48 hours in advance of the session, you may request a refund or have someone attend in your place. In the event of your cancellation within 48 hours, refunds are not possible.
