About
Kangoo Jumps are a type of rebound exercise footwear designed to reduce impact on joints while providing a fun, high-energy workout experience. They are often used in fitness classes, running, rehabilitation, and general cardio exercise. Key Features: 1. Spring System: The most distinctive feature is the elliptical spring-based sole with a T-spring or IPS (Impact Protection System). This acts like a mini-trampoline under each foot, absorbing up to 80% of impact forces. 2. Low-Impact, High-Cardio: Despite being very intense aerobically, the cushioning effect of the springs makes them joint-friendly, especially for the knees, hips, and spine. 3. Weight and Stability: They may look bulky, but they’re relatively lightweight and balanced for natural movement. It may take a short time to adapt, but they’re generally stable with proper use. 4. Burn More Calories: Because of the effort required to balance and bounce, Kangoo Jumps can burn more calories than traditional running or aerobics. 5. Used for Various Purposes: Group fitness classes Running or jogging Rehabilitation and physical therapy Dance and choreography Fun for kids and adults Benefits: Improves cardiovascular endurance Strengthens core and lower body muscles Enhances balance and coordination Reduces stress on joints Boosts mood and energy through rhythmic bouncing Who Can Use Them? Almost anyone—from athletes to beginners, and even rehab patients—can benefit from Kangoo Jumps, though people with severe balance disorders should consult a physician first.
