We offer walks, runs, after class coffees, themed classes & of course fabulous workouts! This is our BRAND NEW CLASS which is here for the months of Spring & Summer! Squeezing exercise into life can be challenging as a new Mum, which is why Moving Mums classes are an amazing way to exercise, get fit and meet other Mums in the same situation. I'm Jasmine, a first time Mum to Mila (who is 11 months old) and I fully know the challenges of finding the time to exercise and also doing so safely in the postpartum period. My passion is to get Leicester moving and I am a fully qualified Level 3 Pre & Postnatal Exercise instructor who can adapt the workout to your needs wherever you are on your postnatal journey. So, what does the 45 minute buggy fitness class entail? Warm-up & stretch Walking & power walking to build up fitness & get in those all important steps! Gentle cardio to improve our fitness levels after birth Resistance band & strength work with lots of options Core and pelvic floor work Stretches What are the benefits? You & your baby get outside! Production of endorphins giving a 'feel good' factor. Reduces tiredness, promotes better quality sleep. Slowly builds your fitness in the postpartum period. Strengthens and retrains the abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Improves posture. Enhances bonding with baby and gets them ready for a nice nap when you're home! A great way to socialise and meet fellow Mums. Please note: This class is suitable for beginners and all levels of fitness but you must be 6 weeks post vaginal birth or 10-12 weeks post c-section. You must ensure you have had your 6 week check from your GP before taking part in the class. What you will need: A pushchair for your baby (however, if you are coming without your child/baby/toddler just bring yourself- that's also fine!) Suitable workout clothes & layers for you both- in case the weather is a bit chilly/ damp! Trainers Water A yoga mat/ fitness mat/ even a blanket/ large towel will do if you don't have one!
