Community Session (Donation Based) Chair Yoga with Jayne

About

Join us for a Deeside Wellbeing Collective community session which alternates practitioners from month to month. A donation based class/workshop, free or just pay what you can. For December community offering, join Jayne for a gentle, chair-based yoga session designed to help you move with comfort and confidence. Using the support of a chair, you’ll explore simple stretches and strengthening exercises to improve mobility, balance, and posture — all without needing to get up and down from the floor. Therabands are used to gently build strength and support joint health and stability. The session also includes mindful breathing and relaxation to help ease tension and boost energy. Perfect for anyone recovering from injury, managing stiffness, or simply looking for a slower-paced, accessible way to move and feel better in their body. All welcome – no previous yoga experience needed. This is a donation-based session held in a warm and welcoming community space. Just bring yourself, wear something comfy, and come as you are. All equipment is provided by the studio. The class takes place at Deeside Wellbeing Collective studio, 11 Scott Skinner Square, Banchory. Our monthly adult donation based classes/workshops in 2025 have been made possible by the award of grant funding from the Aberdeenshire Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund Round 4.
