Restorative Yoga for All-Over Tension Release Sunday 23rd August 4-5:30pm Iain Ross Do you ever feel like you need to tick off just one more job and then you can rest? What would it feel like to actually prioritise rest first, so you can be the best version of yourself? Modern life often leaves us in a constant state of being busy. It’s easy to get so caught up in all the doing we forget to leave space to pause, to slow down and simply rest. Our bodies, minds and nervous systems aren’t designed to be constantly in “go” mode. During this session, we’ll put ourselves first and learn how to access deep levels of rest that unplug us from the day-to-day noise that can become overwhelming. We’ll move through long held restorative poses, supported by several props, designed to encourage total physical release in the body. Through breathwork we’ll learn to harness our rest and digest nervous system, and through a guided body scan meditation we’ll access quiet in the mind. Expect to leave this session feeling well rested both physically and mentally. Perfect for anyone looking for a break from a busy life, support with sleep of just 90 minutes of pure relaxation.
