Discover Ayurveda: Connect to Your Nature, Move with the Season

About

What if you could stop firefighting your health and instead create balance from the inside out? Ayurveda helps you understand the root causes of imbalance so you can feel better, every day. This autumn, join us for two transformational workshops combining Ayurvedic wisdom with movement practices — giving you practical tools for lifelong health. In Your Element: Intro to Ayurveda + Seasonal Movement with Mabel + Kate For anyone tired of juggling low energy, stress, digestive discomfort or ongoing niggles — discover how Ayurveda can help you understand your unique mind-body type and restore balance from the root. Have you heard of Ayurveda and wondered what it’s all about? Or maybe you already know a little, but you’re keen to deepen your understanding? We're thrilled to welcome back our in-house Ayurveda Consultant, Mabel, for this enriching and accessible workshop — this time with an additional seasonal movement session with Kate to help you feel grounded and aligned as we shift into autumn. A registered NHS nurse with over 10 years’ experience in acute medicine, Mabel has spent the last several years immersed in Ayurvedic study and practice, training in both India and the UK. With her unique blend of Western medical knowledge and Eastern wisdom, Mabel makes the principles of Ayurveda simple, empowering, and practical for modern life. Ayurveda — often described as the “science of life” and the sister practice to Yoga — is an ancient system that brings balance to the body, mind, and spirit. In this workshop, you’ll discover how the Five Elements (Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth) form the basis of the Doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), and how understanding your unique constitution can support your wellbeing across all areas of life. We’ll begin with a nourishing, grounding movement class led by Kate, created specifically to complement the transition into autumn. Expect nourishing, flowing movement, breathwork, and Qi Gong — suitable for all levels and designed to support the digestive system, nervous system, and seasonal balance. You’ll complete a Dosha questionnaire to learn more about your own mind-body type, and explore the subtle signs of imbalance — so you can begin to make small shifts to feel more centred, calm, and energised. In the second workshop, at the start of October we’ll explore Dinacharya (daily self-care rituals), seasonal tips, and lifestyle suggestions to help you feel supported and in sync with nature - make sure you sign up to both and save money if you book them at the same time! You’ll leave with a better understanding of: ~ The foundations and history of Ayurveda ~ The Doshas: Vata, Pitta, Kapha ~ How to identify your body type and any current imbalances ~ How to align with the seasons through movement. This 3-hour workshop is perfect for anyone curious about holistic wellbeing, seeking to take more ownership of their health, or simply looking to pause and reconnect. Sign up to our second workshop - In Your Rhythm: Ayurveda for Ritual, Nutrition & Seasonal Alignment If you’re managing poor sleep, burnout, sluggish digestion or recurring health issues, this workshop will show you how simple daily rituals, seasonal nutrition and restorative movement can help you feel more grounded, resilient and well. Book on both and save £10!
