Often referred to as assisted Yoga, Thai Massage incorporates pressure point massage combined with stretching, working with Sen energy lines and tsubo pressure points of the body. Benefits include releasing blocked energy and easing of tension and tightness in muscles and joints, leaving you feeling energised and light. Performed fully clothed on a mat on the floor, during this workshop you will work from head to toe, and will both give and receive a massage, leaving you feeling relaxed and eased of any tightness and tension, and with the skills to perform the massage on friends, partners and family. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in, yoga wear is ideal, and bring a pair of socks. We have mats and blankets, but you may wish to bring extra ones for added padding to lie on. You will be working in pairs so this workshop is ideal to attend with a partner or friend, but it’s also great to come alone and pair up with a like-minded new friend. THE COURSE WILL GIVE YOU Knowledge and understanding of the basics of Thai Massage so you can try out the techniques on family or friends. You'll also leave feeling relaxed, stretched and tension-reduced. THIS COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR Suitable for beginners. WHAT TO BRING/WEAR Comfortable clothing - ath-leisure, layers and warm socks.
