Join the wonderful Rachel for a taste of Mandala Flow Yoga! Definitely known as a fun style of Yoga, is a Mandala Flow practice - also called a circular yoga flow. It's active, it demands your attention, and it’s a whole lot of fun. If your yoga practice feels stagnant lately and you want to shake things up a bit, we think you'll love mandala flows. ;) A fluid and dynamic practice, linking breath to movement, you'll move around your mat in a 360 degree flow. As you go, you'll connect the four elements of fire, water, earth and air with their corresponding chakras and muscle groups. This taster class will be an Earth Mandala Flow, working with Muladhara, the root chakra, targeting your hips and hamstrings. What is it? In Hinduism and Buddhism, the Mandala is an ancient spiritual symbol that represents wholeness. In Yoga, the Mandala is a visual tool used during meditation to hone focus and establish a sacred and enlightened place. A Mandala-style Yoga Flow draws upon this wholeness and shape to create a dynamic sequence that has you moving around your mat in a circular pattern - much like the shape of a mandala itself. It can require a lot of focus and sometimes stamina, but Rachel is a great teacher who's fully aware of levels and abilities in her class. There will be plenty of options should you wish to take it easy or push yourself a little harder! If you cancel your booking more than 1 day before the start of the session you will be refunded by a credit to the bundle or pass used to make the booking or by the gifting of a bundle that will enable you to book into an alternative session.
