Join Homby’s workshop with the modern-day man in mind. In this 1.5-hour workshop we will explore a practical yoga flow focusing more on men’s biomechanics with the emphasis on primal movement. Here we will look at bespoke postures and movements which are inclusive, strong and accessible for men. This will combine practices from: ~ Yoga ~ Basic Animal Flow ~ Functional strength exercises. In combination this offers a unique ground-based practice focusing on strength and muscular activation. We will then regulate the nervous system, exploring how we can reduce stress and anxiety with some breath work and restorative stretching. Finally, the workshop will conclude with some live handpand sound to soothe the mind, body and spirit during your resting postures. I hope this workshop will provide some practical and theoretical knowledge for participants to improve their overall functional strength and mobility, health and mental wellness. Suitable for all abilities who wish to explore a more targeted practice for men, although some experience in movement practice is desirable.
